Had a relatively easy and slow day yesterday, but I’m making up for it today! Back in 2004, I went to @theozzfest and fell in love with heavy metal. 🤘 As #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth comes to a close, I want to share something personal about this picture. This song has a bit of history to it. It started off has the last song I wrote for my old band back on Long Island. it was going to be this whole epic duet piece for us to show off. Taking a break from my normally scheduled coffee in order to enjoy a pot of this delicious Lavazza, courtesy of the absolutely amazing and wonderful @cos.isadora. This is the guitar solo from the VERY first song I ever wrote, recorded, and released on my own. I’ve been pretty focused the past few months on following this plan I’ve been mapping out. Something I’ve really been learning is that regardless of how detailed a “script” I come up with, I always have to be willing to adapt in order to keep moving forward. #ConquerYourBattlefield I’ve been on a bit of a @lambofgod kick the past week or so. I don’t think I’ll ever get tored of seeing @drandallblythe command a crowd or hear @mark.duane.morton lay down these riffs.
