This song is a childhood favorite! I have so many fond memories of my dad putting this song on the radio, and my FULL attention being drawn in the moment the guitar, bass, and drums all kick in with the main riff. As an adult I’ve come to understand and relate to the lyrical commentary that Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull was making about a person living the rat race of life. It’s easy to get caught up in modern living, and to lose sight of one’s mental health. Locomotive Breath always brings me find memories, and also reminds me to take care of myself!
I’m super thrilled that my buddy Matthew Lee lent his vocal talents to this track and helped give this Jethro Tull classic a modern metal revamp!
